Moksha Sewa (an initiative of Namo Gange Trust) is a non-profit organisation. Donations made to support our humanitarian activities are voluntary and non-refundable except as provided in this Refund Policy.
1. General Donation Policy
As a charitable organisation, Moksha Sewa depends entirely on voluntary donations to fund our humanitarian services. Because these funds are immediately allocated to active cases, ambulance fuel, ritual materials, and daily operations, donations are generally considered final and non-refundable.
2. Accidental Multiple Deductions
If due to a technical error, network issue, or gateway glitch, your account is charged multiple times for a single donation attempt, you are eligible for a refund of the duplicate amount(s).
3. Erroneous Donation Amount
If you accidentally typed a significantly higher amount than intended (e.g., entering ₹10,000 instead of ₹1,000) and notify us immediately within 24 hours, we may review the request on a case-by-case basis.
4. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund for an accidental or duplicate transaction, you must write to us at info@mokshasewa.org within 3 days (72 hours) of the transaction.
5. Processing Time
Once a refund is approved by our finance committee, it will be initiated back to the original payment source (credit card, debit card, UPI, or bank account). This process typically takes 7-10 working days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
6. Tax Exemption (80G) Certificates
If an 80G tax exemption receipt has already been generated and dispatched to you for a specific donation, that donation cannot be refunded under any circumstances, as the transaction has already been legally recorded for tax purposes.
